    Responsibilities

    We are seeking a technical and proactive operations support engineer with demonstrated analytical thinking capability and excellent written and verbal communication skills. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience supporting the planning and execution of operations and the coordination and monitoring of formal message traffic for situation awareness.

     

    Qualifications

    Requires 12 to 15 years with BS/BA or 10 to 13 years with MS/MA or 7 to 9 years with Ph.D.

    Bachelor’s degree in an engineering, science, or other related technical discipline

    Assist with the composition and coordination of cables.

    Review formal message traffic and provide customer with daily summaries of relevant items

    Compose daily summaries based on various sources of data.

    Assist in the development of operational plans, operational approval request, technical capabilities summaries, and other documentation to support operations

    Track and report on Geo-political developments that could impact customer operations.

    Experience drafting and coordinating formal message traffic.

    Experience and training in field & headquarters operations support.

    In-depth knowledge and experience with the organizational structure

    Demonstrated experience with customers software sets

    Master’s degree or higher in an engineering, science, or other related technical discipline.

    Demonstrated experience as a former Desk Officer

    Past experience as an SOO or Tech Ops Officer with demonstrated knowledge of Desk Officer responsibilities.

    Experience in tradecraft and operations

    Experience with data search tools

    Experience with SharePoint is a plus
