The Data/Mission Analyst Junior will support the Process manager in ensuring and improving program performance by optimizing and managing the business process. You will provide recommendations for business process improvements. The Data/Mission Analyst Junior will ensure the efficiency of business operations and implement changes or improvements as directed. Under general supervision, you will generate documentation of existing processes and improvements, forecast expected results of process changes, analyze implemented changes and make further adjustments to workflow, schedules or other processes as required.  You will present your finding and make recommendations on improvements to incorporate change in the analyzed business processes.  You will seek opportunities to reducing cost and increase operational efficiency. 


Specific tasks that the Data/Mission Analyst Junior will ensure is accomplished, either online or as instructor-led opportunities, includes:


  1. You will work toward making the program more efficient and effective; especially during the transition of the contract
  2. You will be involved in controlling, monitoring, measuring, executing, designing, and evaluating business processes.
  3. You will ensure that the outcomes derivable from a business process are in line with the strategic goal of the concerned organization.
  4. You will be involved in improving business process management
  5. You will be expected to bring about innovation into business processes with the aim of positively affecting the results.
  6. You will work towards improving the overall ability of the program to achieve its requirements, goals and objectives.
  7. You will be responsible for gathering huge amounts of data together within the process framework of the organization and applying such data towards the success of the program.
  8. You will be responsible for mapping out any existing process in the organization and design new ones towards improving program process.
  9. Involved in analyzing information, collecting data, researching processes, and holding meetings.
  10. You will be expected to react very fast to any rapid change in market condition towards improving the organization’s business processes


Required Qualifications:

  1. A minimum of TS security clearance with SCI eligibility.
  2. Bachelor's (or equivalent) with 2-4 years of experience, or a Master's with 0-2 years of experience.
  3. Knowledge of diverse business processes in a wide range of industries.
  4. Experience in developing and designing documents including training manuals, process outlines, flowcharts and implementation procedures.
  5. Experience monitoring internal controls and make recommendations as needed.
  6. Experience reducing process errors, improve process results and save costs.
  7. Proactive approach to customer/or client challenges, applying problem solving skills to achieve results.
  8. Ability to present material in a formal manner to customers and internal leadership on statuses, risks, issues
  9. Ability to follow security protocols to protect sensitive data.


Desired Qualifications:

  1. STEM degree (e.g., computer science, management information systems, systems engineering).
  2. Certification, (i.e. Certified Business Process Professional (CBPP))
  3. Familiarity with Agile systems implementation methodologies.
  4. Mission/Business Capability analysis experience determining how a capability should work and how changes in conditions, threat, mission, ROE, operations, technology and the environment will affect outcomes.
  5. DIA experience
