SE support includes gathering and documenting legacy functions required in the modern architecture, translating functions into Minimal Viable Products for developers, consulting with Operations and Capabilities leads to resolve knowledge gaps, responding to analysts concerns, tracking analytic development, facilitating risk assessments, and documenting meeting discussions and actions.  Currently preparing to support initial testing of transitioned functions on the modern architecture by capturing analysts’ problems and working with developers to resolve problems prior to formal transition to the modern architecture.

This position is a key leadership role within Perspecta Labs focusing within the wireless systems and networks research areas. The position will help develop and lead research in digital RF communications, RF signal processing, spectrum sensing, wireless networking and will employ novel concepts to bring to bear to hard problems. Other areas of interest include AI/ML and cyber security as it pertains to wireless systems and networks. The ideal candidate should have existing relationships within research and development customer agencies (DARPA, CERDEC, AFRL, and Intelligence Customers) and should have managed multiple different research projects sponsored by these organizations.     Key Responsibilities:   - Develop a unified technical and business strategy for the Wireless Systems and Networks department, - Expand both the business and customer base of the department, - Ensure successful execution of projects and transition of technologies to downstream customers, - Line management, including recruiting, hiring and professional staff development, and   - Collaborate with other managers within the company to ensure the overall success of the organization  ** Must be able to obtain a TS clearance or higher.   The location for this position is flexible to anywhere on the East Coast till Washington, DC . Perspecta Labs headquarters is in Basking Ridge, NJ.
