Duties & Responsibilities: - Works under general supervision, providing solutions to technical problems of moderate scope/complexity. - Establishes and coordinates development of standards, practices, and procedures as related to the overall product development. - Participates in design reviews of components (hardware and software) to ensure applicability to the current system and traceability of requirements through compliance verification and validation. - Customer liaison and support for business development activities and to understand and shape requirements. - Translates high level product development strategies into system requirement specifications and works with multi-discipline engineering teams to develop lower level detailed requirements.  - Collaborate and coordinate with a variety of customers (technical, managerial, financial, and administrative). - Effectively communicate with team members, and provide clear directions, as necessary.

Develop a training information system for a DOD client. Training system will provide a common operational picture of the training environment in 5 integrated capability areas: Training Development, Training Management, Training Enterprise Scheduling, Learning Content Management, and Training Resource Management. These capabilities will enable the DOD client in planning and preparing for operational, institutional and self-development training. - Participate in deployment activities and post deployment retrospective and monitor resolution of identified issues through upcoming releases. - Lead and coordinate system release planning, schedule and deployment management. This includes baseline management, version controls, implementation plans, communication plans and software upgrades. - Ensure deployments are promoted and test activities occur within development environments in accordance with the Release Schedule and established framework - Follow documentation standards and produce required release management deliverables, such as, Release Briefing Packages and Release Plans. - Manage Release Readiness Reviews. - Manage COTS product releases. - Effectively communicate and collaborate with Development teams. - Enforce acceptance criteria of turnover packages: code, build report and other types of software development assets.

These capabilities will enable the DOD client in planning and preparing for operational, institutional and self-development training. - Analyze customer requirements and translate them into functional requirements and construct a tailored solution based on an existing training management system. - Configure COTS product, Fox, to implement customer requirements. - Utilize Agile and SAFe principles, write/elicit Epics and decompose them into User Stories. - Size user stories for each iteration and recognize and use common repeatable patterns to estimate epics and/or stories. - Create acceptance test criteria for each user story. - Participate in the following meetings: Program Increment, Daily Stand-Up, Iteration Reviews, Retrospective and Backlog Refinement.
